Welcome! This site is dedicated to the grand American tradition of building large, mostly rear-wheel-drive (RWD) luxury cars. The focus here will be vehicles manufactured in the '70s, '80s, and '90s, though the tradition goes all the way back to the early part of the last century.

These stylish vehicles -- that by today's standards would be considered behemoths -- once graced roads all over the United States throughout the 20th Century. Yet by the beginning of the New Millennium they had become all but extinct. Today the last of these great cars are nearing the end of of the road, each soon to be replaced by yet another disposable, unit-body vehicle.

Like the Dinosaurs, these grand designs have now been relegated to history. But they live on in the hearts and minds of loyal enthusiasts, many of whom are now being forced to drive either old classics or new SUVs. As more and more of the remaining vehicles end up as hulks in the crusher of the local salvage yard, detailed information about them is fast becoming only a fleeting memory.
